WOMEN'S GROUP

A group of women came together to do a self development class with OWL. The group have gelled well.
The group have called themselves "WOMEN TOGETHER". This group is open to all women. If you are a women in our area you are welcome to join in.
The Women recieved certificates from the WEA and from WAND projects in November 2007.
The women completed a 12 week program called "STEPS" .
They completed Capasitor Training and found this very interesting. The women would like to thank Dundalk Employment Partnership for their funding to help this group.
At the moment the women's group are doing a course through VEC on Health and Nutrition. This is a FETAC level 3 course.
KNITTING GROUP
A couple of women came to me with the idea to get a group of women together to knit and chat. This group meet in the House Oakland Park on Thursday nights at 7.00 pm. Everyone welcome just bring your knitting, crochet,sewing or what ever you wish to do.

ART GROUP
The Art Group began from a set of Art classes run by Le Cheile and the women decided to stay together to paint. They meet every Tuesday night in The House in Oakland Park from 7-9 p.m. Bring a daler board and create a work of Art.
